Start up Terminal app, type csrutil disable reboot 3 if it ask for password, terminal does not show your typing, so type it and press enter. 2 Restart mac, press command+R, let it start. To disable it, you must boot into Recovery and run this command in Terminal: csrutil disable Restart normally and make your changes, then boot into Recovery again and use this command to re-enable it: csrutil enable You must disable SIP (System Integrity Protection) to modify /usr/lib/. ![]() ![]() You can't make any changes without disabling SIP. ![]() That folder is locked down by System Integrity Protection. Following up on a recent install on OSX Mojave 10.14.6 with LIVEX IF you FOLLOW THEE INSTRUCTION: This shit WORKS! To locate /usr/lib/ got to "Go" menu in Finder, once there click "Go to folder" and type it exactly as it reads.
